The award ceremony which is taking place on 10th December 2021, at Kensington Palace, London, United Kingdom, has consistently honoured great Africans in leadership, young achievers, community builders to captains of industries across the continent.

The Awards ceremony has fast become established as one of the biggest gatherings of influential and global African achievers on the continent and has been rated by FORBES Magazine as one of the Most Reputable Award for African Achievers across the Globe.

It is worth noting, according to the organizers, that the Rt Honourable Dr. Sidie Mohamed Tunis is being awarded for his handling of affairs in the Sierra Leone House of Parliament where he previously served as Leader of Government Business from 2018-2020 prior to his election as Speaker of ECOWAS Parliament in 2020. In the Sierra Leone House of Parliament, Honourable Dr Tunis was praised for his ability to put government and the opposition together despite the fact that he then had minority in the House.

Also, the Rt Honourable Dr Tunis was further accorded for his astute leadership in the regional ECOWAS Parliament where he has championed the cause of bringing ECOWAS Parliament to the people as well as pushing assiduously towards direct representation into the regional parliament.

Meanwhile, when contacted here in Freetown on his latest achievement at the continental stage, humble as always, Honourable Dr Tunis said he feels delighted but always ready to do more in serving the people of Sierra Leone and the region at large.
