The management of the Yamba-Kapen Entertainment has today, June 6 2020, unveiled Father Knight, who has impressively attracted people with his unimaginable musical talent, as a signed artist of the label. 
 
Yamba-Kapen Entertainment is an entertainment company that does artists management, music production, show promotion, and event management and planning in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone. 
 
Based in Freetown, Lamin Bangura known by his stage name as Father Knight (the African Banger) is a native of Mile 91, Tonkolili district who realized his musical talent at early childhood and has ever since made an indelible impression to his fans.
 
Father Knight commands the biggest fan base in Tonkolili district and it’s incredibly growing across the country. As a gifted and talented artist, the African Banger is a rapper, songwriter, and singer. And has bagged several rap competitions and awards. 
 
“Father Knight is a huge talent and the next big thing in Sierra Leone if his management could give him the required support”, Star Zee once stated after the rapper dropped some bars in her Around Ya Challenge.
 
CEO Aruna Yamba-Kapen Bangura expressed that with his own passion for the entertainment industry and the rapper’s unlimited talent, higher heights are all they could achieve.
 
Currently working with two of Sierra Leone’s finest and award winning music producers, Father Knight is soon to release two singles for his fans and all music lovers.

SHEIKH BATU DARAMY SR, aka, SB Daramy.  Dr. Sheikh Batu Daramy, Sr. B.Sc (Economics from London School of Economics, UK), M.A., Ph.D from Howard University, was born on 20th September, 1920 in Makeni.  Today we remember one of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) oldest members.  In 1948, Hon. Dr. Sheikh Batu Daramy was awarded a Sierra Leone Government scholarship to attend the London School of Economics from where he graduated in 1952 with a B.Sc in Economics. ...

The death is reported of Police Constable Santigie Ado Kamara formerly of the Operational Support Division (OSD), Panlap Division, Makeni and of Binkolo, Safroko Chiefdom. He died by road accident on Saturday 4th August 2018. Aged 39. He is survived by his wife Isatu Kamara, children Teresa, Samuel, Kenneth, Augustine, Emmanuel and Marie. Brothers: Abu, Kelfa, Karim, Gbessay, Sampha and Dura. Sisters: Jane D.M Sesay, Amie, Isatu, Sinnah, Sentho, Sarah, Helen, Fatu and Kadiatu. He will be buried on Sunday 19th August, 2018 at Binkolo.
